Original SODOM Guitarist Resurfaces In WORTMORD

WORTMORD, the new band featuring original SODOM guitarist Peppi "Grave Violator" Dominik, will release its self-titled debut album on September 29 via Sunny Bastards Records.

"After recording the 'Final Sign Of Evil' album with SODOM and our subsequent performance at Wacken Open Air [festival] were such a blast, I wanted to be in a real band again, as the SODOM reunion was just planned as a one-off thing," Peppi said in a statement.

WORTMORD, which features Dominik alongside "a couple of old friends," plays a style of music that is described as "a blend of metal, punk and hardcore."

A track from the forthcoming CD, "Feile im Mund", featuring a guest appearance by KREATOR's Mille Petrozza on vocals, is available for streaming on the WORTMORDMySpace page.
